Managing very well to never write anything

I was going to write about my training like other runners do. Sure. 4 kids in school, 4 jobs, 50+ miles running a week, a dog to walk and I’m going to write about it. In my spare time.

May 26 is the next race. Highland Forest 1-2-3. Doing 3 loops, 30 miles. Dates, agave nectar, chia seeds is the main fuel.

Seal Wars

I work in post production and don’t often get to work on shows that I am proud to be involved in. I’m proud to have been a part of this one.

‘Seal Wars’ will air in June on Animal Planet and follows members of Sea Shepard as they attempt to disrupt the massive seal slaughter that currently takes place each year in Namibia, South Africa.

Upwards of 90,000 seals (mostly pups) are clubbed to death each year for their pelts on what is supposed to be a government protected sanctuary. Not only is it a disgusting and inhumane practice but the psychological impact on the local villagers who are desperate for work is severe as well.

Hopefully this special will help raise awareness and bring international pressure down on the corrupt government officials who allow this slaughter to take place.

It is time for this barbaric and unnecessary practice to end. Please pass this on and help spread the word.
